Senior #1: Class of 2011
It's going to be a crazy summer of seniors... as each senior will probably want one of our Senior Video Slideshows of their favorite 50 images set to music, besides Facebook images, a spot on this blog, and the general albums, gift portraits and the ever popular pocket portraits!
I can't guarantee each senior will be posted that evening of their session, but I had to start with Janesha today. These images are straight from the camera, no color corrections yet and no extra artwork or retouching (NOT THAT SHE NEEDS ANY OF THIS!).
I really had a great time with her! Inside, and around the studio.
I try to give every Teen a great Experience!

This was one of the very few times in the past 15 years that I've been a professional photographer, that a client gave me a special experience after their session.
I had commented on how beautiful I thought the gowns from India are, and Janesha's Mom (Sapna) had brought five outfits for me to try on! I was hesitant at first...I wanted to make sure that I was not being disrespectful. Being a freckled face, very light skinned, red haired Polish/Hungarian American woman...was I "allowed" to wear such beautiful gowns that are worn by the women of India? They said that they love it when any woman wears their gowns.(Even an old lady like me!)
Well, let me tell you...besides looking luxurious, the material so soft...it is sooooooooooooooo comfortable! No Spanx needed ladies!
I am actually enclosing a few images of me, taken by Janesha and her sister Valina.
Plus a special image with their Mom, Sapna (we'll call my stylist!).
I had five different kinds of clothing...the blue shirt with my jeans is called a Kurti, then there's the Lengha, Salwar Kameez, and the brown is a Churidaar. I'll post more on my Facebook Page (DeLaRosa Photography Studio) soon!
THANK YOU LADIES FOR SUCH A TREAT!
It was a great opportunity, and I felt soooooo beautiful!

ANIMAL EMPATHY
What a session!
The band Animal Empathy and I had a BLAST in an open field off the side of a country road... a county over. Many onlookers! They really are a great set of guys...funny, smart, and took direction well , as I tried to be quick (I was afraid the authorities might stop over!). Their PR and cd cover pics...so many to choose from! Enclosing a few...Thanks, Issac, Trevor and Paul!
If you are a SENIOR, you can use this session as one of your BONUS Buddy Sessions with DeLaRosa
Photography Studios All-Access-Pass!
